Rain Conditioning
Myself and Lands went out for some training on our last day of the "summer" holidays.
Expecting it to be quite a nice, dry day, we started to train behind Wilkinsons in Winton. It soon started to rain and we were going to give up and go home, but instead, we decided to train
We soon found it hard to train properly, so we started to look for other ideas around the area that would be safe and suitable to train on in the rain.
Simply bounding on the white parking lines as far as we could up the hill became hard. It was good as it helped our precisions and bounding abilities without the risk of getting hurt badly due to slippiness. We then decided to boost our Cardiovascular fitness by training some simple running/jogging. We did 2 laps of the car park, until lands decided that alcohol is not a good thing for running and fitness and is now giving up
:D (apart from on special occasions.. special occasion being every night
)
Surprisingly, this turned out to be a good session in the rain and we have now made rain the official time to work on your CV fitness and conditioning in general. We hope you will join us in this.
Come on, this is England. Its going to rain at least once a week during the winter so... by January we should be pretty damn beef
:D
Also, Andy Jay isn't hung like a donkey... donkeys are hung like Andy Jay.
Love to all fellow practitioners... and donkeys.
xx
